Project Ear Part 7: Finishing touches

I have finally finished the second ear. During sculpting my teacher told me the ear was “too fat” again. This seems to be a repeating pattern I must watch out for in the future. I scraped some excess clay of and after 3 hours I called it done.

I did not have the other ear next to me as I was finished. So, when I set the second ear next to it on the jury table the comparison made it clear, it is still too large. Back to the table I went until I was satisfied. I think the second ear now looks better than the first one.
